Slickdeals is built around a very broad community deal feed rather than an Amazon-only coupon list. Its app promotes deals sourced by users, coupons at thousands of stores, and custom Deal Alerts, while its website includes retailer deals, forums, cashback offers, and promoted items. 1356 That breadth is useful, but Amazon shoppers looking specifically for short-lived promo codes may prefer a narrower workflow. On 2026-10-01, 99.8% of our 2,519 live deals carried a promo code, and 65% were scheduled to end within three days.
That is not to say Slickdeals is weak. Its community is a major advantage: Slickdeals says about 12 million shoppers use the platform monthly, and its mobile experience is designed around voting, commenting, saving, and sharing deals. 9 Its Deal Alerts are much more configurable than ours, and its extension can find and apply coupon codes while you shop. 234 Today Coupon List is intentionally smaller in scope. We focus on Amazon deal discovery, promo codes, categories, favorites, expiry reminders, and simple shopping calculators.

Common complaints about Slickdeals
A broad deal feed can be more than an Amazon shopper needs
Slickdeals covers products, stores, categories, coupons, forums, community posts, and retailer offers rather than specializing in Amazon promo codes. 13 That is a strength for general bargain hunting, but it creates a different workflow. If your question is simply "what Amazon codes are new today?", start with new Amazon deals today or the focused approach in our guide to finding coupon codes.
The strongest alerts require more setup
Slickdeals lets shoppers create Deal Alerts around keywords, stores, brands, categories, forums, rating thresholds, notification methods, and instant or daily timing. 3 That control is excellent when you are waiting for a particular laptop, TV, brand, or sale. Today Coupon List takes a simpler approach: save Amazon deals you like and use new-deal or expiry notifications without building a large library of alert rules.
Cashback adds another program to manage
Slickdeals Cashback Rewards is available to members on select offers at more than 150 participating stores. Points can be redeemed through options including PayPal credit and gift cards, with 1,000 points currently representing $10 in value. 5 It is extra value for eligible purchases, but it also adds activation, eligibility, pending points, and redemption rules. Today Coupon List has no cashback wallet or reward balance.
Browser tools come with a different data tradeoff
Slickdeals has separate privacy policies for its main services and its browser extension. Its service policy describes collection of identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, and location-related information, while the extension policy says personal information collected through the extension is not sold. 78 Today Coupon List has no browser extension. If extensions are part of your comparison, see our shopping browser extensions guide.
Where Slickdeals is strong
The community is the biggest reason to use Slickdeals
Slickdeals is not just a coupon database. Its mobile experience is built around shoppers posting, voting, commenting, saving, and sharing deals, and the company reports about 12 million monthly shoppers. 9 That gives buyers access to price discussion, product opinions, deal replication reports, and alternative offers. Today Coupon List cannot match that community depth and should not be treated as a replacement for it.
Deal Alerts are much more customizable
Slickdeals lets users target alerts by keyword, store, brand, or category, then choose notification channels and timing. Available methods include email, mobile push, private messages, and site notifications, with instant and daily timing options displayed on the alert page. 3 That is stronger than our narrower notification system, which focuses on new deals, saved-deal expiry reminders, recaps, and limited engagement messages.
The extension and cashback cover jobs we do not
The Slickdeals extension can identify deals and try coupon codes while users shop, and the company offers Cashback Rewards on qualifying purchases at participating retailers. 45 Today Coupon List has neither feature. If you want checkout assistance and rewards across stores, Slickdeals offers a broader toolset. Our advantage is specialization around browsing Amazon promo-code inventory before you reach checkout.
How each one makes money (and what that means for you)
Slickdeals says it is community-supported and may get paid by brands for deals, including promoted items. Its terms also describe affiliate relationships, while its Cashback Rewards page says participating stores can pay commissions and part may be shared with members as points. 56 Today Coupon List earns Amazon affiliate commissions when qualifying purchases follow our links, and the Daily Coupons app can display AdMob banners. Neither business model changes the need to compare the final retailer price yourself.

| Affiliate revenue | Affiliate relationships disclosed 6 | Amazon affiliate commissions |
| Paid promotions | Brands may pay for promoted deals 6 | Not part of our deal ranking claim |
| Cashback sharing | Shares some store commissions as points 5 | No cashback program |
| Advertising | Advertising and promoted offers disclosed 6 | AdMob banners may appear in app |

How to switch
1. Start with the focused Amazon feed
Open Daily Coupons or the website and check new listings, categories, or Amazon deals under $20. Our 2026-10-01 snapshot showed about 124 new deals per day over the prior seven days, so checking the newest inventory can surface codes before they expire.
2. Save short-lived deals instead of buying immediately
Favorite products that look useful and review them before purchase. In our measured snapshot, the median remaining time was only 0.4 days and 65% of deals were scheduled to end within three days. Expiry reminders can help, but the final price and code should always be confirmed on Amazon.
3. Keep Slickdeals for broader monitoring
If you are waiting for a specific TV, laptop, appliance, brand, or non-Amazon sale, create a Slickdeals Deal Alert instead of trying to force an Amazon-only tool into that job. Slickdeals supports keyword, store, brand, and category alerts with multiple notification options. 3
4. Check the final stack before paying
Use the Coupon Stacking Calculator to compare combined discounts, then read how to stack Amazon coupons and ways to save on Amazon. Today Coupon List does not test codes automatically, so confirm the exact checkout total before placing the order.

Today Coupon List is a focused alternative when Amazon promo codes are your main goal. On 2026-10-01, our catalog had 2,519 live deals and 99.8% carried a code. Slickdeals remains stronger for community research, multi-store deals, custom alerts, cashback, and its browser extension. 235
Is Today Coupon List better than Slickdeals?
They solve different problems. Today Coupon List is narrower and Amazon-focused. Slickdeals offers a much broader community deal platform with voting, comments, customized alerts, a browser extension, and Cashback Rewards. 2359 Choose based on whether Amazon promo-code discovery or broad deal hunting matters more.
Does Slickdeals have Amazon deals?
Yes. Slickdeals regularly includes Amazon deals, and Amazon appears among its popular Deal Alert options. 3 It is not an Amazon-only service, however. Deals from many other retailers and categories appear across the platform, while Today Coupon List is specifically centered on Amazon promo codes.
Does Slickdeals have a browser extension?
Yes. Slickdeals offers a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. The company says it can show available deals while you shop, provide quick Slickdeals access, create alerts, and try coupon codes during checkout. 24 Today Coupon List does not offer a browser extension.
Does Slickdeals offer cashback?
Yes. Slickdeals currently offers Cashback Rewards Points on qualifying purchases at more than 150 participating stores. Points can be redeemed through options including PayPal credit and gift cards, and 1,000 points currently equal $10 in value. 5 Participation requires an active Slickdeals account.
Are Slickdeals Deal Alerts better than Today Coupon List notifications?
Slickdeals offers more customization. Its alerts can target specific keywords, stores, brands, or categories and support instant or daily delivery through channels including email and mobile push. 3 Today Coupon List has a simpler system centered on new deals, saved-deal expiry reminders, welcome messages, and weekly recaps.
Do I need an account to use Slickdeals?
Not for every basic interaction, but Slickdeals says certain services require an account. 6 Cashback Rewards specifically requires an active account and activation. 5 Today Coupon List supports guest access, although signing in is required to save favorites across your account.
Does Slickdeals automatically apply coupons?
Its browser extension can try available coupon codes and apply savings while you shop at supported stores. 24 The standard Slickdeals community feed is broader than this feature and contains many kinds of deals. Today Coupon List shows codes for you to copy but does not automatically test or apply them.
Can I use Slickdeals and Today Coupon List together?
Yes. A practical setup is to use Daily Coupons for Amazon promo-code discovery and Slickdeals for community opinions, non-Amazon deals, custom product alerts, extension-based coupons, and eligible cashback offers. 235 There is little reason to treat them as mutually exclusive.
Which option is better for finding 50% off Amazon deals?
Today Coupon List has a dedicated high-discount Amazon workflow. In the 2026-10-01 snapshot, the median discount was 50% and 1,720 of 2,519 live deals, about 68%, were at least 50% off. Slickdeals also carries Amazon deals, but its catalog spans many stores and deal types. 13
