Editorial Policy

This page explains how Today Coupon List researches, writes, checks and corrects what it publishes. Last updated October 5, 2026.

Who writes the guides

Guides and articles are published by the Today Coupon List team and carry the byline “Today Coupon List Team”. We are an independent site that shares Amazon promo codes, deals and money saving guides for shoppers in the United States. We do not claim professional credentials we do not have, and the guides are explainers, not financial, legal or medical advice.

How we research a guide

  • We start from primary sources: Amazon Help pages, Amazon seller documentation, government and industry sources, and official event announcements.
  • Every guide lists its sources at the bottom, and the sources are checked to make sure the links still open.
  • We only use a statistic when we can name the source and the year. If we cannot, we leave it out.
  • Evergreen guides do not quote live prices, because prices change. When a rule comes from Amazon, we say “Amazon’s help pages say” so you know whose rule it is.

How we handle promo codes and deals

  • Listings come from sellers who submit them, from automated feeds of Amazon product data, and from entries made by our team.
  • Listings show when they were last checked, and listings with old data are hidden.
  • Codes can expire, hit a usage limit or be limited to certain accounts before we notice. The price and discount shown at Amazon checkout always win.

Updates and corrections

Each guide shows a “Last updated” date. We update a guide when a source changes, when a rule we describe changes, or when a reader tells us something is wrong. If you find a mistake or an expired code, tell us on the contact page. We fix confirmed errors and update the date.

Independence and sponsored content

  • We do not take payment for reviews, rankings or guide placement.
  • We earn commissions from affiliate links. This does not change what we write or what a guide recommends. How we earn money is explained in the affiliate disclosure.
  • Paid placements are labeled “Sponsored”, and partner offers such as an Amazon Prime free trial are labeled “Ad”.

Product finds and daily lists

Product finds roundups and daily deal lists are browsing lists, not editorial guides. They are kept out of search engine results on purpose, and the guides on our blog are held to the standards on this page.
