This page explains how to delete your account in the Daily Coupons: Deals & Savings app for iOS and Android, what data is deleted, and what may be kept.
How to Delete Your Account in the App
- Open the Daily Coupons app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account. If you signed in with Apple, you may be asked to confirm with Apple as well.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is deleted right away:
- Your account, including your email address, name and sign-in details
- Your favorites
- Your Deal Radar rules and matches
- Your tracked products
- Your notification settings and push token
- Community posts and photos you created
What May Be Kept
- Anonymous analytics: anonymous, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you.
- Purchase records: Apple, Google or RevenueCat may keep records of subscription purchases under their own policies. We cannot delete those records.
- Backups: copies of deleted data in our backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. If you have a Premium subscription, cancel it with Apple or Google so you are not charged again:
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Daily Coupons, then tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, tap Payments & subscriptions, tap Subscriptions, choose Daily Coupons, then tap Cancel subscription.
Cannot Open the App?
If you cannot open the app or no longer have it installed, you can still ask us to delete your account. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address of your account with the subject “Delete my account”, or use our contact page. We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Delete Some Data Without Deleting Your Account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app you can remove your favorites, Deal Radar rules and tracked products at any time, and keep the rest of your account.
